Rural Development Education System (RDES)

RDES is the major innovation of Vigyan Ashram. A child of 2-3 years of age learns a language by itself but in next 10 years of schooling, it is not able to learn a single other language.
The only reason for this is that the child learns its mother tongue by the Natural System Of Learning, which involves observation, practicing it further and acquiring the skill. We found that this method of learning is effective. The  system of ‘ Learning while Doing, in real life situation’ adopted by  Vigyan Ashram, involves doing community service work in real life as part of education. Education and Development have been integrated
Many educationalist advocated this philosophy in the past, but for the first time Dr.Kalbag spelled this philosophy as a program, he successfully demonstrated it over 20 years.
RDES program is available in both formal and non formal mode. 1) Formal mode (Introduction to Basic Technology - I.B.T ) 2) Non formal mode (Basic Rural Technology - D.B.R.T )
