Goat Farm

We have been propagating Saanen Goats as a milk source. The Saanen goat produced by cross breeding a Saanen Buck with local goats, give upward of 3 liters milk per day. The cost of the milk is almost half the cost of cows milk. The goat has many advantages over the cow as a dairy cattle. We have capacity of around 40 goats at a time. At present we have around 16 goats and one male goat for insemination service.

 

Syllabus:
1 Temperature measurement weight, respiration, pulse, and age from teeth
2 Deworming and pest control. Treatment for common ailments
3 Scheduling the feed for our goats and implementing
4 Artificial Insemination of goats
5 Care of kids
6 Recognizing and treating sick goats
7 Goat Housing
8 Goat Breeds
