Born: 2 Aug 1973;

Education:     

Pethe High School , Nasik , MS  upto 12^th Std.

B.E (Mechanical) with First class Distinction in 1994 from Govt. College of Engineering, Pune

1994-1996: Completed Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Indo – German Chamber of Commerce, Mumbai.

( A German Multinational Company M/S KSB Pumps Ltd. sponsored the course fees and stipend for 2 years }

2001-2003 : MA (Distance Education) in first class from Yashwant Rao Chavan Open Univeristy, Nasik

2004 : Pursuing Ph.D. (Nomadic Education) from YCMOU.

Others : Certificate course in computers, Certificate course in German language from MAx Muller Bhavan

Experience :

1996-1997 : With KSB Pumps Ltd as Officer (Business) from 1997-99 as Office (Sales) looking after sales of submersible and industrial pumps and valves.

Resigned from KSB Pumps Ltd to join Vigyan Ashram in Sept 1999.

Sept 1999 – Dec 2003 : Dy.Director (Ventures) with Vigyan Ashram mainly responsible of development and marketing of multimedia CDs developed by ashram in regional languages.

He successfully marketed the computer lessons to rural schools in Maharashtra.

He is also instrumental in starting and shaping the Wireless in local loop project at Pabal and Rajgurunagar. He is heading the operations of the project. 34 village information kiosks are started in the nearby villages of ashram. And 60 remote villages got first telephone booth so far.

He is also responsible for establishing Mahila Udyog Kendra of Vigyan Ashram and set up a micro juice filteration plant at Pabal.

After sad demise of Dr.Kalbag, he is appointed as Executive Director of Vigyan ashram.

Social :

From college days Yogesh Kulkarni is active in social activities. With the view to contribute his bit to the society , he joined Vigyan Ashram.

During college days, he worked as volunteer to teach students in slum area (2 years). He also worked as volunteer in Literacy mission program ( 3 year ) Also worked on the Nasik City Literacy mission committee. He visited many development works in rural and tribal belt of Maharashtra in his college days. Represented Vigyan Ashram in many International and National level seminars on “IT in education” and “Education for Development” topics. Special expertise in identifying rural problems and seeking technical solution for it.
